"I’ve just put up a very special rework by a dear friend Jas Shaw. You’ll know him as one half of SMD but I urge you with every bit of my energy to also seek out his solo work as it’s music fabricated from dream states. The Shaw & Grossfeldt record on Drone (amazing label) from last year is an incredible place to begin. This is his remix of Think About What You Love and I’ve become obsessed. Pay whatever you like for it and, by all means, please help yourself for zero pounds.
The original track was made during the Song For Alpha sessions with another good mate Gold Panda. Jas ran the finished track onto tape which is something I often like to do - nothing sounds like dust and distorted memories. A couple of years later in the furious haze of a studio experiment, Jas blindly takes the track (the file was left unmarked on his computer) as the basis for a new drum sound he’d been working on, warping the record out of all recognition and creating something truly beautiful in the process. I’m ecstatic to offer it up here. Spread the word." – DA

My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
